We’ve been shortlisted for Datacentre of the Year!

March 31st, 2011 by: Andrew Jarrett

I am delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for the ‘Datacentre of the Year’ award in the eGaming Review B2B Awards!

Now in its second year, the industry’s top award ceremony includes categories for all major disciplines including corporate services, betting and gaming software, networks, mobile, payments, recruitment, marketing and IT and infrastructure.

Interestingly, we are the only Jersey-based company represented on the shortlist and I think this really demonstrates our continued commitment to Jersey’s newly emerging egaming industry.

You can find out more about the EGR B2B awards here, or check out a recent interview with Chris Evans in the JEP Business Review

I’ll be looking forward to the gala awards dinner on 3rd May at Chelsea Football Club (even though i’ll feel like a traitor, being a United supporter!)

Jersey approves Online Gambling legislation – Finally!

March 4th, 2011 by: Andrew Jarrett

Yesterday morning, Thursday 3rd March 2011, the States of Jersey voted to modernise its gambling legislation to allow online gambling businesses to operate in the Island. This legislation has been debated for many years and, in my opinion, is ten years overdue, but unlike many other markets it is not too late. The industry is maturing but not mature, there is still great potential for Jersey, provided the correct marketing strategy is taken, particularly at the moment as there is so much flux around Europe, Asia and the US.
