PCI DSS gives a boost to Cloud services

Our Cloud services were launched some time ago but it took longer than anticipated to create the contracts due to various issues, due in no small part to some licensing arrangements with software vendors not being as clear as they should be, but the bigger issues were around ISO 27001 and PCI DSS.  Read more…

A great day out…

I was one of over 23,000 people who ran 10 miles in the Bupa Great South Run (GSR) at Portsmouth on Sunday.
 
I entered the GSR to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and have only really been running since the end of July.  Many of my Foreshore colleagues were kind enough to sponsor me in my target to raise £400 and I’ve raised £445 so far.
 
The Great South Run is Europe’s most popular 10 mile race and started life in Southampton back in 1990 before moving to the neighboring city of Portsmouth 12 months later.  For more information on the event see http://www.greatrun.org/events/Information.aspx?ctid=41&id=12 Read more…

Shot on location in Grand Cayman, the film (working title: “Four Brothers”) documents a young boy’s efforts to make peace with the memory of his brother by reaching a small deserted island they had planned to conquer together. The film has been supported by the Cayman Islands Film Commission (CIFC)
